Position Summary
The primary responsibility of a 2nd Shift CNC Grinder is to Set-up and operate CNC grinding equipment in a skillful and efficient manner.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Must be educated and trained to read prints and interpret engineering instructions required to produce parts consistently to close tolerances.
  • Analyze and debug new methods.
  • Perform calculations and use inspection equipment to verify that all quality requirements are met.
  • Understand and follow the safety rules including keeping a neat and clean work area.
  • Diligently perform all duties in a highly productive manner.
  • Check and maintain oil and coolant levels on a daily basis

Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Vocational School with hands on training at school or in a machine shop.
  • Looking for at least 5 years of machining experience
  • Ability to perform with in tight tolerances and work within already established parameters.
  • It is desirable to have some training in the use and understanding of metric to imperial inch conversion
  • Experience with tolerances of +/- .00015 & knowledge of surface finish and methods of inspecting them. The operator should be proficient in indicating.

About Candidate:
  • High School Diploma or Vocational School with hands on training at school or in a machine shop.
  • It is desirable to have some training in SPC, teambuilding and problem sharing and be well versed in the company quality policies and procedures.
  • Team Player and good attitude
