The company is actively seeking a Business Operations Associate to join a dynamic team and report directly to the VP of Business Operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in finance across both corporate and startup environments, and driven to establish and enforce processes that support effective scaling.

Responsibilities
· Revenue Operations & Accounts Receivable (AR):
· Own and maintain revenue operations policies, including top-line revenue metrics, KPIs, and internal databases (e.g., CRM).
· Lead customer invoicing, crypto payment processes, AR aging, collections, and payment processing.
· Manage workflows for both traditional finance and crypto/token transactions.
· Facilitate clear and professional communication with external customers, internal stakeholders, and accounting partners to resolve issues and ensure alignment.
· Accounts Payable (AP):
· Oversee the AP database and internal policies.
· Process AP payments on a bi-monthly basis, covering both traditional and crypto/token (DeFi) payments.
· Maintain internal credit card policies in partnership with the Accounting team to ensure accurate bookkeeping.
· Finance Partner Management:
· Manage relationships with external finance vendors (e.g., accounting firms, auditors, and other third-party service providers).
· Oversee deliverables, weekly workflows, and monthly financial closings to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

· Vendor Procurement & Negotiation:
· Lead vendor selection, pricing negotiations, and contract structuring to optimize costs and service quality.
· Ensure that vendor contracts align with company objectives and budget constraints.

Reporting:
· Prepare and maintain monthly executive-level reports, including financial models, revenue metrics, and budgets.
· Oversee annual audits, sales tax reporting, and corporate tax processes.
· Support external communication and reporting to investors.
· Ensure compliance with internal governance policies and regulatory requirements.

Logistics and Operations:
· Plan and facilitate monthly company town halls, including presentation preparation, data collection, and coordination of cross-functional updates.
· Optimize and enforce internal employee policies (e.g., business travel, reimbursements).
· Lead the logistics, budgeting, and execution of company offsites, summits, marketing events, and travel arrangements.
· Maintain functional offices at the company headquarters to support employee and business needs.
· Keep accurate company-wide headcount data and assist with onboarding new local hires.

Requirements

· Location (On-site): Must be based in New York with the ability to work on-site at the Williamsburg office.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Experience:
· 3–4 years in business operations, accounting, finance, or similar fields.
· Proven track record managing AP/AR workflows, including both traditional finance and crypto/token (DeFi) transactions.
· Experience creating financial models, revenue KPIs, and budgets.
· Familiarity with corporate governance, compliance, and financial audits.
· Experience using data-driven decision-making to optimize financial and operational processes.
· Proven ability in contract procurement and negotiations with vendors.
· Strong background in managing partnerships and vendor relationships.

Skills:
· Proficiency with Excel (advanced modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization).
· Solid understanding of DeFi, Web3, and crypto/token operations and their integration into traditional finance systems.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective internal and external collaboration.
· Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex workflows and deadlines.
· Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail in reporting and financial accuracy.
· Self-motivated and solution-oriented with a strong sense of accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience in both corporate and startup environments, particularly in Finance, Fintech, or Web3.
· Experience scaling business operations for high-growth organizations.
· Familiarity with CRM platforms and financial tools.
